Site & Web Browser Requirements
The Meetings Intelligence Exchange is using a lot of newer Internet technologies and therefore may have higher requirements than a standard web site. For this reason we strongly suggest that you upgrade your web browser to the latest possible version.
We also recommend that you use a browser that complies with Internet standards and can handle Javascript quickly. A few browsers that we suggest are Apple’s “Safari”, Mozilla’s “Firefox” and Google’s “Chrome”. These browsers are considerably faster than even the latest version of “Internet Explorer”. In some cases they are 2 - 3 times faster, at handling Javascript, than Internet Explorer. It will only take you a couple of minutes to upgrade and you’ll notice a HUGE difference in loading times on many of our pages. Especially the Dashboards! See for yourself!
All three browsers are free of charge and are available on both Mac’s and PC’s.
This site also utilizes a lot of Javascript, cookies and other technologies that some browsers may consider a security risk and turns them off by default. For the most part these technologies are only a security risk if you are visiting questionable sites. If you want the best possible experience while using this site, as well as other sites on the Internet, we strongly suggest (and in some cases, require) that you enable Javascript & cookies, in your browser. Every browser is different but most allow you to enable or disable Javascript and cookies.
Along with using the latest Browsers and enabling Javascript, your actual computer will play a major part in your experience. An older, slower computer that has little RAM and is using an older operating system, will have a lot of problems with most sites on the Internet. If you have the means, a newer computer with lots of RAM will not only make your experience better on our site, but improve all of your computing tasks considerably.
